This
is an intensive, 5-week program developed by the ELI for international
students planning to attend graduate programs in the US (for example,
Graduate School for Public and International Affairs) or be involved
in an organization working with the US in a professional capacity. The
program immerses students in culture and language beneficial to those
in academic and professional environments. Classes will meet for five
hours a day, four days a week. Program size is limited to 15 students.

This
program uses a variety of professional and academic content as the basis
for English language classes. Content includes readings from journals
and textbooks, videotaped lectures of actual classes, research paper
and report requirements, and work with librarians.
